How It Got Started
Unchainedreamz started over endless cups of chai at a teafe in Delhi. Where we, two best friends from college, decided to bring forward our dreams, aspirations and talents and unchain them together.

Our friendship began in college and was nurtured over zillion cups of coffee and samosas in the university canteen... much like how it is now... just that tea has replaced the coffee, paints have replaced the samosas and the canteen is replaced by our makeshift studio.

Lovers of travel, storytellers by nature and experience seekers, we decided to come together to create a platform that enables and encourages people to discover their creative side.
​
Realising that new age parents, children and corporates have forgotten the art of a life that's not driven by batteries and gadgets, the beauty and pure joy of creating something with their bare hands, we decided to bring affordable art to every home. Not just for buying but for making as well.

India is a country of myriad colors, art and culture. Which is why we promote and bring together local and intriguing art forms from different Indian states to urban India, through our workshops and exhibitions.
​
In our quest to look for the very best of local art, we found ourselves interacting with immensely talented artisans who are unaware of the power of their art. Over time, we have reached out to a large number of artisans, and helped them tweak, re-package and redesign their art to make contemporary home decor items.

In our continuous efforts to increase the awareness about where each art form originates, we, at the Unchainedreamz, are spearheading a number of programs to connect people to the artists through their stories.
​
Unchainedreamz have nothing in their kitty if not the sheer love and passion for what we do. We are driven by the single minded determination of promoting artisans at the grass-root level and aim to cut out the middleman and give the artists their due recognition.
​
This burning need to identify new artisans is perhaps what keeps our work fresh and unique. Every single piece made by us tells the stories of our travel, passion and love for something unique.
